Get out and breathe the fresh air and enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Perris! Join Lake Perris birders for a guided bird walk along the shore of Lake Perris. This area should be alive with shore birds and some migratory species. Location: Lot 12 Difficulty: Easy Trail Type: Combination of a paved trail, dirt paths, and hard packed sand. Strollers: Strollers should be fine on the trail. You are welcome to start the walk and go as far as you feel comfortable. Dogs: No, as they have the potential to scare off the birds. Recommendations: Bring binoculars and/or a field guide, if you have them. We have extra binoculars in case you need to borrow a pair. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring a bottle of water. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended. Additional Information: Rainstorm cancels the walk. Reservations are not necessary, except for groups over ten people.
