PERRIS DAY Saturday, January 26, 2019 11:00 a.m. — 1:00 p.m. Perris Valley Historical Museum Perris Depot 120 W. 4th Street THE PERRIS VALLEY HISTORICAL MUSEUM IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE PIONEER FAMILY FOR 2019 Charles Sumner & Anna Juhl Foss Fred T. Perris Day will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Perris Depot located at 120 W. 4th Street in downtown Perris. The program will begin at 11:00 a.m. The Pioneer Family to be honored for 2019 is Charles Sumner Foss and his wife Anna Juhl Foss. Charles and his son Calvin were farmers and managed the Lerners Milling in Perris located at the N/W corner of D. Street and 4th Street for many years. Charles Foss was a Perris Union High School District board member and donated a portion of his property to the school district for a new football eld known at Foss Field. It is still used today and is known at Foss Field Park at the City of Perris campus. The community is welcome to come and enjoy this celebration. Tours will be given at the museum. Refreshments will be served. Cost: Free
